With more than 500 million users (over 1.2 million in Connecticut alone), Facebook is a communication and marketing tool that businesses can’t afford to ignore.
CEDF is hosting notable social media advisor, Maria Miranda of Miranda Creative, for a hands-on educational series about these new media options. The first of this series–”Facebook 101: The Business Edition” will be held on Thursday, September 30th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at CEDF’s offices, 965 East Main Street, Meriden.

Do you want to learn more about the CEDF loan application process? Join us at our Meriden office or at the Norwich Community Development Corporation! CEDF will host loan application sessions in Meriden and Norwich to assist potential borrowers to navigate the application process. The loan sessions are interactive and designed to answer questions and provide an opportunity to meet with lenders for personal assistance.
The Meriden session will be held at our headquarters on September 15th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. CEDF is located at 965 East Main Street in Meriden.
The Norwich session will be held on September 16th at the Norwich Community Development Corporation (NCDC), 77 Main Street in downtown Norwich. The Norwich session will run from 11:00- 1:00 pm. Parking is available in the Main Street Garage directly across the street from NCDC. Parking is metered or free on the top floor of the garage. Additional parking is available in the Waterfront lot at the nearby Howard T. Brown Memorial Park.
Additional sessions will be scheduled around the state in the coming weeks.
CEDF provides flexible financing and business support to small and micro-businesses whom may need funding for start-ups or existing businesses and cannot obtain the traditional bank financing.
