• for existing businesses established for 3 or more years
• for loans up to $250,000

SBA Micro Loans

• for loans up to $35,000

Micro Loan Guarantee Program for Women and Minority Owned Businesses

A special loan guarantee program, offered in conjunction with the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) helps women and minority owned businesses obtain flexible financing. This is for start up as well as the growth of existing businesses.

CT Inner City Business Loan Guarantee Program More Info

As part of the Governor's initiative, CEDF, in conjunction with the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), offers guarantees for small business loans in designated industry clusters located in Waterbury, Hartford, New Britain, Bridgeport, and New Haven. This guarantee is for small businesses that would otherwise have difficulty obtaining traditional financing or need more flexible terms.
