$4M Eastern CT Segmented Loan Fund |
The new 4M Eastern CT Segmented Loan Fund was officially
launched during a celebration on January 20th at the
Corporate Office of Dime Bank, 290 Salem Turnpike, in
Norwich.
Local elected officials, six investor banks, Mohegan
tribal officials, CEDF loan recipients, and community
members attended the event.
Local investor banks participating in the program include the Dime, Chelsea Groton Bank, the Savings Institute Bank & Trust, Jewett City Savings Bank, Liberty Bank and Eastern Federal Bank.
The Mohegan tribe, which is the only non-bank participant
in the program, has committed $250,000 toward the fund.
On February 9th, the staff of CEDF met with over 80
business owners at the Mohegan Sun Conference Center in
Uncasville to outline details of the new fund. Read a

CEDF will be
moving its offices to 965 East Main Street in Meriden in May of 2008. The new
location, on the site of the former Lane Construction building,
will make us more centrally accessible to community partners and clients
throughout the state.
