Are you ready to apply your experience in banking and credit to help improve the Connecticut economy and the neighborhoods where we live? The Community Economic Development Fund (CEDF) is a state-wide non-profit organization serving low-to-moderate income small business owners who cannot get traditional bank financing.
CEDF serves small businesses through an innovative, flexible and integrated approach that includes capital, education, and advisory services. You can join a small, close-knit team of experienced and dedicated finance and business operation professionals committed to the success of our clients.
CEDF was chartered by the Connecticut Legislature 25 years ago and operates as an independent 501c3. Our loan capital comes from 26 investors, primarily the leading banks. And CEDF has been the top SBA MicroLender in the state, six years running. Our process combines the customary prudence of the banking world with due recognition of the conditions in the “real world” on Main Street where our clients make their living.
Ready to thrive as a loan officer in an environment that’s about accountability to our mission and supporting our clients, and leaves the pressure of sales quotas behind? If you have the knowledge to be a quick-starter in a commercial lending role, we should talk.
