Community Development
CEDF supports community-initiated projects designed to have an immediate impact on neighborhoods. Local project leaders provide the strategic plan that builds on incremental successes over multiple years. Such efforts as streetscape improvements begin to improve the local climate for economic development. Typically, funding is provided primarily by local sources partnering with CEDF.
Eligibility
Normally, projects are initiated by locally-based groups such as neighborhood and/or business associations in partnership with municipalities. Eligible communities include but are not limited to these eligible communities.
