She holds a doctor of management degree in organizational leadership, and mentors at the University of Phoenix, College of Doctoral Studies. D. Smith is an associate vice president and senior project management professional at AECOM, where she is responsible for planning, overseeing, and managing various multi-million-dollar projects from inception to completion. With a passion for giving back to the science, technology, engineering and mathematics industry, she is actively engaged with several professional organizations. Dr. Smith is the 2022 Women Transportation Seminar, CT Chapter Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership award recipient.
