Celeste Tapia is a Community Outreach Officer and Business Advisor at CEDF, where she helps entrepreneurs throughout Connecticut access the resources, education, and financing they need to start, grow, and strengthen their businesses.

Originally from Argentina, Celeste brings a bilingual and multicultural perspective to her work, with a passion for expanding opportunities for Hispanic-owned businesses and underserved communities. Before joining CEDF, she spent more than a decade working in public libraries, combining education, community engagement, and information services. As the owner of Airbounce Amusements, she also understands firsthand the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship.

Celeste specializes in business advising, commercial lending, financial education, and community outreach, frequently leading workshops in both English and Spanish. Her goal is to empower business owners with the knowledge, confidence, and access to capital they need to achieve long-term success and strengthen Connecticut's small business community.
