Ellen McKitterick is a Staff Attorney in the Legal Division of the Connecticut Department of Labor. Her areas of expertise include: the Family and Medical Leave Act, including the distinctions between the federal and state leave laws; the Connecticut Paid Sick Leave law; state and federal employment discrimination and workplace accommodation laws; workplace standards; and wage and hour laws. Prior to state service, Ellen practiced employment law in Arizona and Connecticut. In addition to her work in the Legal Division, Ellen serves as the Labor Commissioner’s Appointee to the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Paid Leave Authority.
